Cultural Initiatives

The Biennial presents the following collateral cultural initiatives.

• International Competition with the theme: ‘The beauty of the corps and the beauty of the soul’.

  The best lace from this point of view will be awarded a place in the Lacemaking Museum of the International Biennial of Sansepolcro.

• International Recognition for the “Industrious Activity and Collaboration in the field of Lacemaking in Europe”, with a gold medal awarded to institutions and artists who distinguished themselves in this sense in the last period of two years.

• International workshop for theoretic-practical knowledge of the techniques of lacemaking and of their old and new workmanship, with didactic intervention by italian and foreign teachers.
